So, I have been attending the Gay Softball World series down here in Phoenix, AZ the past few days. What a fun time. There are 188 teams participating from all around north america (US and Canada).

Talk about a great time being around lots of hot gay jocks! I have been taking pictures for the people that run the event and it's been a blast.

I was just wondering if anyone on this site is attending the event. How many of you out there are softball players?

I may be there on the weekend, but probably not - look for me. I used to be good friends w/ a lot of former players on the local teams, and some of them still play

    may go to this:

The annual Rainbows Festival is an urban street fair and festival to celebrate the great diversity of Phoenix. This celebration is held each year in downtown Phoenix in Heritage Square Park and the surrounding streets. It is located near 7th Street & Monroe, just two blocks north of Chase Field. Festival hours are from 10am to 6pm. This is the largest free gay/lesbian event in the state of Arizona. It is an opportunity for the gay/lesbian community and their friends to celebrate the diversity of the Phoenix community. Sponsored in part by Echo.

I played in the NYC gay softball league around 1991/1992. It was a great time. Really nice guys, athletic, fun, sexy and hot.

We travelled a bit becuae we won. We went to Boston and Philly and met so many great people.

I was young and pretty in the day, so I had a great time. I tore my ACL that weekend and had a bunch of hunky guys literally carrying me around. Talk about a fantasy come true.

We didn't play in the world series, but God! did we have fun; playing softball under the Williamsburgh Bridge every Sunday morning.

    I miss those times.
