    What kind of demand would they anticipate for this, and what area of cropland would it take to meet that demand?

    I'd like to know more about the direct synthetic route, especially if it can bypass the bio-aspect. Even so, it begs the questions: Is it more energy efficient? How close is it to being carbon-neutral?
