They can be funny and crazy and odd. They can also be really hyper sensitive, snippy and..........

    lol

True, because we have at Charlies (gay country bar in Phoenix) one of the longest drag shows in the country. They can really be rude, but stuff a 5 in their bra and you'll have a friend for life.

Just say "I like shoes" and they'll be your best friend forever.

Treat them like a lady. Crack a few jokes. Making friends with drag queens usually have a great payoff b/c they introduce you to other people at the club.

Back in the day there was a bar here that would let any excuse for a DQ get one stage. I used to carry full size pretty realistic looking play money. It makes perfect sense if you think about it.

Drag queen = female impersonator = imitation woman.

    Imitation money makes sense.

    As for talking to them...

If you're talking about picking one of them up, I'm not going to be any help with that.

If you're talking about just talking, just talk. A lot of that snippy banter is just art of the act.

Most of the time being mean and bitchy is part of their character. Just go in a having fun mentality, don't get offended by mean comments and throw some back if you are a witty guy. Go with the flow the "don't get offended" is the most important part icon_razz.gif
