And I don't mean baking a pie or cupcakes either. icon_twisted.gif

I sometimes burn weed before I wrestle somebody and I love how my body reacts! You get a one-two high, one from the intense exercise and the other from what you've smoked or vaped. Should add that I'm not a competitive athlete, not good or built or knowledgeable enough, I just roll for fun.

Some of the runners I know (not like it's all that many) tell me they also blaze before jogging & even racing. It's a lot the same for them. And they say their times aren't affected one bit.

From my studies in school I know a bunch about intoxicants, and the potential effects on the body of smoking anything, so we don't need to go there. Knowing this site, though, somebody's going to anyways. icon_rolleyes.gif

I don't smoke as much as I used to, but when I do it's usually after I do something, not before. After work or after I played ball for 3 hours, I might smoke a joint to relax. I feel like if I smoke before I'll just be lazy if I wanted to get somethin done. I was with friends few weeks ago and right before we were gonna go play some ball we smoked a bit and we ended up not going cause we just got lazy. I have friends who just wake and bake and then do nothing all day and it looks fun for a little while, but I know if I smoked with em I'd get nothing done that day either

I always suggest people afraid of flying to smoke pot before their flight , it is more effective than an anti anxiety medecine and better than ingesting chemical .
I wish we would have some on-board , it would make our work a lot easier ..lol..

So you want to go workout or play but your mind is too distracted by everything stressing you?

Go ahead and bake, but only a very little. One or two vapes should be enough to get you moving your body but not enough to make you close your eyes and curl up.

If you find yourself needing this anti-anxiety treatment daily, stop and ask yourself "Why?".

I used to have a few drinks and smoke a little weed before mountain biking...especially at the top of the mountain before shredding downhill. It totally loosened me up to ride harder and faster. But it slows me down on the climbs so I had to stop doing that.

When I was younger, I used to fire up a bowl before heading out on my bike all day. Those long hill climbs in SF made for some long laughing fits coming down! Now, I don't really like the high, though; lingering over a gin in the evening is much more "mellow." icon_cool.gif

Back when I smoked pot, back in the early 70s, it would make me lethargic and tired. So it doesn't seem like a good recipe to me to get high before doing something athletic.

I was always told drugs were bad for athletic performance. Plus I went to schools where they'd randomly pull you and make you pee.

Only serious athletes get baked before working out, competing or even having breakfast.

I recently made a Linzer torte. My first attempt. This is not an actual pic (stock photo) but it looked a lot like this:

That looks great - and would satisfy any case of the munchies!

I like to cook, but baking and candies are too finicky for me. I'm a hearty stew/casserole/gratin kinda guy.

I never knew individuals "bake" before workout or sports. I would naturally assume it would hinder your game and focus..?

My friend and I usually take a couple pit stops when we are climbing mountains haha.
