Oh please let this really happen!!!!! Please let them leave and loose their passports and renounce their US citizenships!!! I would seriously considering pouring money into this if any of these people choose this option.

I just pictured them floating around on a boat in the ocean because no country would take them in.

We should just establish the Giant Tea Party State of Texas as a UN administered reservation for all the narrow minded bible thumping screwballs since most of them come from that hot, humid, featureless shithole of a state.

I've favored letting Texas secede for some time. Except no UN administration, but to reestablish their former Republic of Texas. And let the goofball biblethumpers all immigrate there, and lose their US citizenship.

Followed by annexation by Mexico. Once the US military has pulled out and takes its equipment and closes the Federal installations, Texas won't be able to defend itself, at least not for the first few years until it builds its own military. Its current National Guard is too weak without the equipment & armaments that actually belong to the United States. Many Mexicans still consider the loss of their former territory to have been illegal, and would love to settle that old score.

Texas is now allowing concealed weapons on campus.

So much for me wanting to teach students about the Historical Jesus vs. the Thought Form Jesus they can really have convictions about. That Thought Form Jesus is a real placebo.

Let me just jump over to spirituality and start a thread and see what people think about that topic.

Back to Texas, Don't Make Us Think, Professors, We're Packing Concealed Weapons--and don't draw images of you know who because you know who are packing concealed weapons too.

Well, I think it's gonna hafta be Australia, about the only English-speaking country that still opposes same-sex marriage, and not likely to change soon. Canada doesn't, Ireland doesn't, England & Scotland don't, New Zealand doesn't. They all have gay marriage.

A kind of English is widely spoken in India and remains homophobic. But I don't think those prissy Christians would be otherwise happy there.

And if they wanna learn Spanish or Portuguese, Mexico is no help, nor Spain or Portugal. Looking into South America the countries there are beginning to acknowledge same-sex marriage. They could try one, but might hafta flee again in a few years.

hmmmm.... what's a US Christian bigot to do?

If there were people in Italy that would keep me company with my interests in the Historical Composite Jesus, I'd go there because I read somewhere that they are pro civil unions and against gay marriage. Gay marriage is a politically expedient solution to the failure to enforce gay and bisexual civil unions. Marriage as an anthropological categorization is a term that should not equate the two unions. As much as gay men cannot even appreciate fem guys, where is the anthropological synonym in a marriage of a man and a woman and a man and a man. Second, on correct categorizations, gay marriage corrupts the notion of bloodline family trees.
