Hey everyone, will be in Philly for the first time, any suggestions to visit and have some fun?, and yeah, where can I find some hot guys icon_redface.gif

The gay scene in Philly is pretty small, but fun nonetheless. Woody's is the biggest gay club there. It's very crowded though and is 10 dollar cover, but at 1:30 they let people in for free. ICandy is another big club, and some of the gogo boys are pretty hot. It doesn't get crowded until after midnight though. If you're more into a smaller bar where "anything goes", might want to check out Bike Stop. Sure the guys there aren't the hottest and the place isn't the nicest, but I really like the "do whatever you want" atmosphere there. I suggest having a few drinks elsewhere beforehand if you choose to head there, as it's no fun sober.

If you're still in the mood to party after 2AM, you can go to Voyeur. It's an after-hours place with a mostly gay clientele (similar to the Endup in SF, if you've ever been here). I dislike it, but some people like it, and it's really the only place to go past 2.

Aside from these, there are various smaller bars in the Gayborhood. There's even a gay sports bar now (Boxers) with shirtless bartenders.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I don't live in Philly anymore, but I wish I did.

I live in Philly and while I'm not big into the gay scene myself, I can agree with most of everything that Bacillus says... "Woody's" is the big place to meet folks in a friendly atmosphere. Never heard of "Bike Stop" though... I may have to ask around about it... haha.

When are you coming to town, OP? how long are you staying?

Hey guys, thanks for your replies, sounds pretty fun. Guess I should give a time to the museums as well. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I'm going next week (13-1icon_cool.gif, staying at the center city. Looks like it will be kind of crowded.

The only thing I found interesting in Philly was riding the trails at Blue Mountain Bike Park.

Anything else is just urban clutter mixed with really hot guys who'll never have sex with you.

"Really hot guys"? Never heard that description, at least comparing it to SF or LA, but of course you'll find your share of hot guys, as you would anywhere.

Well I'm currently living in SF (err, East Bay), I have lived in LA (and will be again in Sept), and have lived in Miami Beach/SoFla for the past decade.

When I say "really hot guys" you can bet your lilly white ass I know what I'm talking about. icon_wink.gif
