Anybody else watching so far? Or going to any games? Or want to keep up any running commentary? I need an outlet for my fandom.

I know, it was a bit sad. Their keeper actually had a halfway decent game, too.

The refereeing is pretty awful so far, invisible handballs called, visible handballs ignored!

The quaterfinals are set! I'm definitely thinking USA will beat China, Canada will wipe away England. The other two, not quite so sure...Germany and France is going to be a blood bath!!

Australia has the pleasure of meeting Japan again, after Japan destroyed them in the AFC.

    Can't wait!!!

I bet CANvENG is going to go to PKs after 0-0 the whole way through. You have Canada, who struggles with scoring during the run-of-play but really good at defending set pieces against England who's really good at serving set pieces but struggles at run-of-play defending.

USAvCHN is going to be excellent, and I hope that Australia can be the upset queens. Nobody's stopping Germany, though. They'll go back to back, imo.

Germany was run all over the field, they were clearly the inferior side to France, ugh, another invisible handball, that ball clearly went off the shoulders of Marji. That was such a sad and unfortunate, and extremely unlucky to France, the curse continues!

USA vs China was one snoozefest, USA managed to hold the ball forever but doesn't create a lot of dangerous opportunities. China wasn't dangerous AT ALL, a side that should not be equal to going out at the same stage as France.

I think there will definitely be a score for Canada vs England, neither side are really critical, but I hope England can pull the upset and hopefully Canada will trip throughout the fake turf and have karma bites them.

Japan vs Australia going to be interesting!!

I was at the Canada game... there is officially nothing more depressing than watching the home side defeat themselves before they can place. That was rough.

Yessssssss!!!!!!!!! I was cheering for England all the way, and when they scored twice?? I was ecstatic, it must be sooo incredibly humiliating for Canada!!

I just realized, both Australia and England didn't stick to the script FIFA wrote for them, with Australia eliminating Brazil and England now took out Canada. FIFA totally rigged the competition, and this is all with the intention for it to benefit Canada, but it turned out, they unknowingly benefited ....JAPAN!!

Japan won't have to face a truly superior side until they get to the final, I'm assuming England won't stand a chance against them, but who knows. Germany vs US is going to quite a blood bath too.

No offense but who cares? Their level will never match the male leagues.

I still remember main Swedish female team lost against teenager boys, that was embarrassing.

I'm all for women's sports and support them; volleyball, hockey, handball, etc...and I support them in football too but no way Im watching that when the American cup is on.
