Speaking from experience, when you have kids everything but clothes and food becomes a luxury to some degree.
It's not the size hole you dig with debt that matters. It's the size plan you have to fill the hole back up. You can bet if his credit rating was in the gutter NYT would have run that in 5 inch headlines.
And there's no such thing as kids who won't drop everything, turn off the TV and leave their phones on land to go boating. Good Family fun times.
But on the funny side of hypocrisy....
Here we've seen a guy talk about a lack of sound judgment about Rubio buying a boat while being in debt for a car, a home, student loans and all that normal stuff turn around on another thread and rationalize the spending behavior of a state facing bankruptcy due to billions of dollars of debt, a history of fiscal irresponsibility. massive overspending, waste, double dipping, and even fraud...
I guess different standards of good judgment apply when you spend other people's money instead of your own.http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/4064429
It's a laugh a minute in here some days.
