Not my ideas, but it's been working well so I thought I'd share the combination:

The carrots were somewhat disappointing, but the radishes and cucumbers are amazing with guac.

Looks like good stuff to me! After you finish off the guac, head for the hummus. I really like eating veggies in the summer heat.

Ooh, that's a great idea; my only objection to guacamole and veggies after work is that I don't get any protein from that combo (plus, now that I have a pressure cooker and live near sea level, cooking dry beans has gotten much easier!).

    I'm jealous. icon_razz.gif

I think it's going to be at least a few more weeks before my tree starts to bear fruit:

I keep checking, but nothing yet.

Funny thing is, I stuck the toothpicks in that thing back in March, just a week or so after moving to the east Bay, before I'd even finished unpacking. It's taken almost three months just to grow two three real leaves.

At this rate, my relationship with this little tree is going to end up like the one with my cat: a contest to see which stubborn party can put up with the other one longer.
