    Hi losers!!!icon_biggrin.gif

So yesterday was DC Pride. Being from the DC area I had my Facebook feed filled with pictures of friends having fun throughout the weakened.

One of my friend, who is CONSTANTLY posting pictures and updates, apparently got into a physical altercation with his bf...

He then went on to post a picture of a bloody nose with the caption "This is what happens when your drugged up boyfriend gets mad"....

Shocked by what I saw, I went into his boyfriends page to see what was his side. All he had was an update saying that they had indeed broken up over night.

This morning, both pictures and updates were removed and a picture of them kissing was posted instead. A few people left comments asking why they were together if they had gotten into a physical fight but those comments were quickly removed.

This angers me. Granted we aren't that close friends, it pains me to see someone so willfully take an abuser back. I want to leave a scathing post on their pages but know I should just shut up and mind my own business. But if you are going to post bloody pictures of yourself you have to expect people are going to talk. I'm also angered that he seems to be doing this all for the attention and pity...

    What would you do???

Do some research on battered wives and why they take their husbands back (or never leave to begin with).

The genders may be different, but the psychology is the same.

I really, really REALLY want to leave a bitchy comment like..."Yay!!! Let's act like nothing happened!!!"

Plenty of people saw the original posting, there was like 50 comments on it before it got deleted. Now with the picture of them kissing, most people are like "Awww great you guys are back together!!!"

    I can't help but roll my eyes....icon_rolleyes.gif

Why start now? I'd call out the violent piece of shit. No excuse to hit the person you claim to love.

personally, i'd put up with violence if there was love.

not all relationships are made equal.

Have courage! Speak up!! Don't stay quiet. Why? Next hit might be his last. Your mouth just might save a life. It is your business!!! They opened the door and now you get in there and add your voice.

    STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
