"Donald Trump, the real estate mogul, reality television star and hair icon, today announced he is taking his first run at the White House."

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/donald-trump-announces-2016-presidential-campaign-make-country/story?id=31799741

I didn't know the Republican clown car had room for so many! A new record!

The Democrat National Committee responded to Trump's announcement with a statement: “Today, Donald Trump became the second major Republican candidate to announce for president in two days. He adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the GOP field...

Someone in the DNC has a wonderful sense of sarcasm. icon_biggrin.gif

I could vote for him, he's not some nebulous do-nothing like Clinton or Rubio

and yes, Clinton has never done a god damn thing in office

that idiot Reagan could answer a question more succinctly than CLinton

Highlights from Trump’s big speech to “Make America Great Again.”

When he invited Obama to leave office early and play on one of his golf courses (there’s one right by the White House)

The dude that kept shouting, “We need Trump NOOOOOOOOOOW!”

When he said he would bill Mexico for the wall that he’s going to make them build (but will be done inexpensively)

When he said he would call the head of Ford (who he knows!!!!!) and get them to stop building plants across said wall

When he rolled out his alternative to Obamacare, which is similar but “much better” and “much less expensive”

When he reminded you over and over that he really loves soldiers

When he said that the U.S. “brand” sucked

When he reminded us, over and over, that he’s “really rich”

When he made fun of John Kerry for breaking his leg on a bike

When he called LaGuardia Airport a third world country

NYT: "Today, Donald Trump became the second major Republican candidate to announce for president in two days. He adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the G.O.P. field, and we look forward hearing more about his ideas for the nation.”

    — A statement sent out to reporters from the Democratic National Committee, welcoming Donald Trump to the 2016 presidential race, with just the slightest hint of sarcasm.

Trump also casually called Mexican immigrants "rapists."

This candidate = another Republican embarrassment

Trumps Trumpeting His Unfair Advantage Over Other Candidates: He's Rich

NYT: In his announcement on Tuesday, Donald J. Trump brandished his wealth and fame as chief qualifications in an improbable quest for the Republican nomination.

You should not have any problem finding a suitable husband in Montreal. Have a good life as a Canadian citizen. Don't forget to permanently shed your American citizenship.icon_razz.gif

    So let's see....hmmm....
Trump is going to "build a wall across the Mexican border...." and, moreover, he's "going to MAKE Mexico PAY for it....."

Does he think Mexico is a small, unimportant country like (oh dear), Canada, which has a population of...about 36 million people overall?

The number of CONSCRIPT-AGE MEN in Mexico amounts to about.....28 million. "Bring it on...."? What an asshole lol

Don't do that, Jar, you can't just "shed" you U.S. citizenship these days, we actually make you pay (about $600) to get a certificate from the Secretary of State certifying you are no longer a citizen...something he decides, not you: You know, home of the "Free". icon_biggrin.gif

    Jesus fix it.

Supporting Donald Trump is like going to a Witch Doctor because you don't like the three medical opinions from leading surgeons.

Look, just because we have problems, and might die, does not mean we should listen to some unqualified, ignorant, smooth-talking salesman who has been through more bankruptcies than a crackhead.

The Donald is a con artist. A very good con artist, but a con artist. He has dragged more people into bankruptcy than possibly even Bernie Madoff. I've seen his disastrous building projects that dot the Florida coastline.

I met him once in West Palm Beach, just in passing at a function. Every bit as sleazy in person as I expected, and with as much class as a used car salesman.

But the gathering there was enamored of him. How could they not be? Money honors & respects money, first & foremost, and will overlook any personal defect if they see the glint of gold, and money to be made.

It'll be amusing to see how far this trickster gets in the Republican primaries. I suspect the real politicians, con men of a different sort, will simply ignore him, and let him self-destruct. And take the negative spotlight off themselves, even at the risk of damaging the Republican "brand".
