A nice family that lives in Lindenhurst Long Island for over 2 years received an anonymous letter in their mailbox.
    It read:
"Leave immediately !!! You are not wanted here!!!
Find another town with people like you!!
    "The community"

    Police are investigating the letter..

On the other hand, back in the 1970s or so, a black family moved into a white neighborhood in St. Paul, MN, and found the neighbors to be very welcoming. However, they did have trouble with the police. The police were constantly stopping them and asking them what they were doing in that neighborhood.

Start at the seventh word in the first sentence, then google the location. icon_wink.gif

This seems so 'tame' in a relative sense that I'd suspect it's the trollish behavior of rogue 13 or 14 year olds riding on their bikes and doing it for the "lolz."

I'm not too perturbed by this. My parents, an interracial couple, had their shed set on fire and a brick thrown through the window back in the mid 80s in Oklahoma. Now that was newsworthy (though of course it did NOT make the news), whereas this just seems trollish and juvenile in the literal sense of the word.

It's also so tame that, if not teenagers, it smacks of a false-flag written by a "liberal sympathizer" that's trying to drum up some conversation about race and get the community to be even more sui welcoming and inclusive. A just end, but horrible means, IF true.

Racists are a lot more colorful than this though. There isn't even an N word or reference to race in that letter. Something doesn't smell right.
