NYT: The designer Bobby Abley references Darth Vader, “Chewy” and more characters from the films in his spring 2016 London men’s wear show.

I'm not against the idea of star wars clothes but I definitely would never wear these particular pieces. They look like cheap knockoffs to me.

    Yeeeeeeeeah, no.

I was totally expecting to see clothing -from- the Star Wars universe (I'd totally try rocking Han Solo's shirt and vest combo, and Luke's robes look pretty comfy), and was not expecting to see the weird 21st century artsy imagination-come-to-life conceptual stuff that we see on these fashion walks, but never observe in what most people call 'real life'.

Still, thank you, "Bobby" for taking part in the pictures--but note that my absolute disappointment is aimed at the Chewie outfit.

...he should have been wearing wookiee-feet slippers.

You know there's a whole "storm troopers" subculture... kinda like flurries, but more PVC...

I love it all, the runway stuff AND the original starwars style.

They look across between Halloween costumes and boys' pajamas. Not sure any single outfit should be more than twenty dollars USD.
