I hate water!

    okay, It's only the fourth week of the new year and already this is probably the most water I have drank in my entire life with this diet and exercise routine I've started. ((Yay, for sticking to New Year's Resolutions!))

    Anyway, seriously...before the new year started my drink regimen pretty much consisted of coffee, coffee, coffee, diet coke, diet coke, diet coke, and maybe water. And that was for one day.

    Now, it's like...water, milk, coffee, water, water, water....seriously!!!

    Not that that's a bad thing, except for when I'm working out. Up until the past few days, I could handle all the water I've been drinking. Now, it's like I'm going through my strength training and weights, sipping on my water...and I have to force myself to piss before I start the cardio!

    No joke! Saturday and Yesterday I started my cardio and BAM! My bladder is suddenly full! WTF! Of course, not wanting to lose the machine I'm on, I friggin' hold the back the tide..all the while praying that the muscle don't tire and the flood gates don't open on me.

    It's getting tiring! Tonight, I forced myself to go..but I didn't feel the need to at the time. Whatever little there was though must have helped cuz I made through the cardio without an URGENT urge to go, but one came nonetheless...ggrrr,

    Anyway, I just had to vent about how evil water is being to me at the moment!icon_lol.gif

    stick with it mate, couple of years ago I drunk nothing but coke, I stopped drinking it and for about 3 months I was constantly running for the tinkle room.... now I can't stand anything but water and the occasional banana smoothy.

    Maybe you're drinking too much water at one time? It might be better to drink in moderation. Or maybe you're just drinking more than you need?

    If your piss is clear, then you're hydrated and you can ease up on your water consumption. If your piss is yellow, then it's time to drink a little more. If your piss is dark like iced tea, then you're very very dehydrated.

    I actually love water... can't stand soda or carbonated beverages. I wasn't always that way.

    Try adding Sugar-free flavoring to your water... or drinking tea too... or adding whey protein

    Remeber at least 64oz of water a day... more if you sweat a lot when u work out...

    I'm gonna go ahead and say that it could very well be the coffee. Also I suggest you do a 5k and realize, a minute in, you have to use the bathroom. That is really holding back the tide.

    drinking too much water is definitely not good for you, it washes out a good percentage of minerals important for your health, such as potassium.
    It's OK to drink any fluids like tea, coffee, juices, all of which contain water. Don't get invaded by the media and water campaigns interested in making money.
    Water is a huge industry, they make 1000% for each bottle they sell.
    I'm not saying water is not good for you, drink it moderately.

    throughout a day i drink like

    75% - water
    25% - soy milk (light)

    and like twice a month (maybe) ill have like a can of diet dr. pepper.

    I hate water too. for one thing fish fuck in it. But I put lemon in mine, and I'm able to drink a lot more. That Coke stuff, is poison, stay away from it, it will rot your guts out.

    I don't make new year resolutions, as I'm just to much of a free spirit, but anyhow stick to it, and enjoy.

    I drink water, juices, smoothies, teas (iced and hot) and on a rare occasion, hot chocolate. I don't like the taste of sodas. I can once in a blue moon, drink those sparkling juice drinks, but that is extremely rare and there is no sugar added.

    No Coffee, traditional sodas, or alcohol for me.

    Uck I hate water as well. I mean it's just to plain and blah. Now when I work out I'll drink it unless I feel my body calling for it but otherwise I'll take anything else but. I use to drink pepsi all day long but lost my taste for it and when I picked one up a few months later the caffeine had me going for 3 hours non stop. But I mostly like Juice or Tea.
    I was once called a tall glass of water by a nice looking guy. Never heard that before and was certainly never called that before so it was kinda funny. However THAT is the kind of water I could go for any time of day.!!!

    I understand being bored with water. I add lime or lemon juice to my water to alleviate that problem.

    I love water!! I rarely drink coffee or soft drinks or even juice. Most beverages beyond water tend to be just sugar and water anyways. Once in awhile I'll indulge in a diet coke or something, but water's great! zero calories! =P

    I love water too...and I agree it has to be room temperature.

    Your body has to get used to the water intake though, just like any change in your diet. When I first started drinking a lot of water, I was peeing constantly. Now my body is used to it, and utilizes the water better.

    Thanks for all the feedback, guys. So I take it I shouldn't drink so much which is cool cuz I think there's plenty of water in all the fruits and veggies I'm eating anyway.
