I was 12.5 years old. My big sister Kathy and her bud Sharon were home visiting from grad school, were bored visiting BFE, and took me to the late showing at a very creepy old theater in Utica, NY. This was the scariest thing I had ever seen up to that point. I'm pretty confident I didnt sleep that night.
Great cast and some of our favorite throw away lines. I own it and have probably watched it 40x and if it's on TV I will always stop while surfing and watch at least a little bit of it.

Thank you, John Williams. You are the reason why I love film scores.

I saw it last year after many many years..
It holds up incredibly well due to the actors and the director.

At first glance I read "Happy 4Oth B-Day Jews!"

I'm torn on which actually makes me more afraid to go in the water, now that I'm thinking about it.
