It is based in Texas the state where chicanery, dishonesty, and overcharging are all time honored traditions. Go figure.

These new Haggen stores here in the LA area probably wont be far behind Whole Foods either. I mistakenly bought ONE red onion, I thought was regular but when I got home, I checked my receipt and it was a organic red onion, no wonder I paid $2.00 lb for one onion (it was a 2 lb onion so it cost me $4.00!!!!). After my food poisoning from their food, I kind of stop shopping there, now have switched to Vons, Smart Final for most of my food supplies. If I had to compare items, Haggen prices run about $1-$2 more than Vons or Albertsons. Probably are a bit higher than Ralphs too. I also noticed Haggen parking lot, more empty now than when it was Albertsons

There is a Whole Foods, right in the heart of gay West Hollywood, homos been over paying for years icon_lol.gif

7 things to know about Haggen, the grocery store coming our way
    http://www.ocregister.com/articles/haggen-646054-stores-company.html

    It’s Whole Foods, sort of

Back in 2006, Haggen prices were comparable with Safeway, a Seattle Times story reported, but nowadays customers compare Haggen to Whole Foods, which similarly focuses on quality and locally sourced ingredients. “If Whole Foods and Safeway had a baby, it could be called Haggen,” Yelp reviewer Erica said in 2010. “(They have) everything from premium organic brands to off-brand cheap stuff.”

Only in Beverly Hills would a pay check not matter icon_lol.gif

"The company has a reputation for high prices, with some people referring to it as "Whole Paycheque". However, Whole Foods has announced plans for a new chain of smaller stores with lower prices"

Of course, there is 100% organic. All plants and animals are 100% organic. That's what the word means "that which has organs." After that, it was generally used to mean "from life."

The vague, meaningless buzzwords that scammers like stupid-foods and omri, use mean absolutely nothing. Except "a fee has been paid to scammers."
