One of the most anti-gay Republican politicians, Bobby Jindal, has entered the US presidential race.

The Louisiana Governor has in the past said his party doesn’t need the support of gay people, and has continually tried to force through “religious freedom” laws in his state which would allow anti-gay discrimination.

The best part about being a "person of color" is that there is no one particular shade but when you're white you're painted with the broad brush of one solid brilliant shade of bigoted, racist white.

Gov. Bobby Jindal's administration and Attorney General Buddy Caldwell say gay marriage currently will not be offered or recognized in Louisiana despite a U.S. Supreme Court ruling saying same-sex couples should have access to marriage in all 50 states.

"Current state law is still in effect until the courts order us otherwise," said Mike Reed, Jindal's spokesman in the governor's office.

Gov. Bobby Jindal condemned the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage, which gave same-sex couples a nationwide right to marry, including in Louisiana.

Jindal has said he will make religious liberty a central theme of his presidential campaign. He characterized the Supreme Court's decision as an attack on the religious rights of conservative Christians and others.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/worldviews/wp/2015/06/25/why-is-bobby-jindal-being-called-white-on-twitter/
A day after Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal announced that he will run for U.S. president in 2016, the way he chooses to identify himself has become the subject of a trending hashtag in India.

    It's called #bobbyjindalissowhite.

Jindal’s meteoric rise in the Republican Party as a conservative of color has won him many supporters in the United States. But here in India, Jindal is seen “as a man who has spent a lifetime distancing himself from his Indian roots.”

That is all the beleaguered GOP needs right now, another narrow minded bible thumping screwball to enter the Presidential race. This right wing clown from Louisiana is a real humdinger. Calling him a dope is being too polite. He is an insufferable prick.icon_mad.gif

Sounds familiar, just like the gay Republicans who have spent most of their lives distancing themselves from their own sexual orientation (while, at the same time, actively impeding the cause of gay equal rights).

Jindal bitterly opposes equality for gay Americans... another typical anti-gay Republican candidate joins the clown car.
He won't last long, though. He's very unpopular even in his own state.

Well, you can thank Ronald Reagan and Karl Rove for that successful election strategy. I won't mention the 2 Bushes, since one was more stupid than the other, and hadn't a clue what was going on around them.

But now Republicans have to live with the consequences. Their party has been taken over by Christian fundamentalists, and those other nutjobs, the Teabaggers.

True, but let's not blame it all on the anti-gay American Talibann -- the selfish Ayn Rand atheist "greed is good" libertarian crowd is just as responsible for the national Republican Party's state of utter disarray and embarrassingly backwards policies.

Needn't have put "anti-gay" ahead of Republican in the title: every Republican candidate has indicated they wish gay couples still had second-class citizen status in the wake of 6/26.
