    Lots of psychobabble in that article.

    But I do agree that slow breathing through the nose and breathing low into the stomach rather than up into the chest does temporarily relieve stress and such. It's also a good thing to do when you're in bed trying to get to sleep.

    It's also good to breathe like that when doing an endurance sport...keeps the heart rate a little lower.
