America's favorite fast food chain is...(drum roll):

    Chick-fil-A.

"It's the highest ranking fast food restaurant in the U.S. for customer satisfaction, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index Restaurant Report 2015.

The chicken restaurant was the subject of controversy and protests a few years ago after its CEO made remarks that offended the LGBT community."

    ---

I've not eaten there since the CEO's remarks, nor have any of the gay people I know. It calls into question the effectiveness of boycotts. The gay boycott of Chick-fil-A doesn't seem to be any more effective than the religious right's boycott of Disney.

It seems that the bad publicity and embarrassment surrounding a boycott is more effective than the boycott itself.

Darn right! I'll go to Chick-Fil-A EVERY time for their delicious chicken biscuits for breakfast. Who cares about the comments!

I know of two Chick-Fil-A that are Franchised by the LBGT family members. The corporation has no problem with LBGT employees or Franchised owner who are LBGT. When I eat out at fast food restaurant the only place I will stop at is a Chick-Fil-A

    What is "All Others"

    3) All Others -- 81

Is that the name a restaurant chain or is are they sticking all the restaurants not listed there?

I'm guessing that In-N-Out did not make the list because they are not nationwide.

    I have never been to a Chick-Fil-A.

I rarely ever have fast food.

Jeeze, now I'm going to have to find one and try them.

Near me is a Kentucky Fried Chicken which has always been my favorite, the Original Recipe; loaded with fat and flavor. I always get 2 thighs; I've never understood the attraction of the dry white meat. Their sides, mashed potatoes, biscuit, veges, etc. are worthless; I've been getting their cole slaw since it's not as awful as the others and I like the reusable plastic containers it comes in. I limit myself to once a month or less for KFC.

Yup- So many cars lined up here it caused traffic problems at the local Chic-fil-A locations.. That's what a boycott can do for business.

To be more precise he states, “[welfare] programs have the unintended consequence of discouraging work rather than encouraging independence, self-reliance and pride”.

There will be a segment of the population to which this statement is applicable.

Just like I tell my friends, if Hitler made Krispy Kreme donuts. As soon as that "Hot Now" Sign lights up I'm still going to buy a dozen.

Their chicken is nappy and buns are plain. And one pickle? I just can't with them.

    Oh yeah, and their bigotry.

Many boycotts have worked, and have worked quickly, so it would be silly to say that can't be effective. Just because it did not work well enough with Chick-fil-A does not mean that they should not be used in the future. Even so, there are people that wont go to Chick-fil-A, Universities have removed them, etc., because of the boycott.

There's one not far from me so I went there yesterday for lunch.
    Meh.
It's all processed white meat. I'd never been there before so I didn't know that sandwiches are their forte. I got the 4 strips basket. For white meat it was reasonably juicy. But the KFC Original Recipe thigh is still #1 in my book.

On the other hand, the kid who took my order was a hot frat boy. At KFC they're rarely eye candy.

I have never been to one and don't plan to.

The only fast food joint I can eat at and not feel sick after is Wendy's.

Actually, Hitler used to have soap made out of the human bones. I would be curious if you would feel the same way if it was the KKK.

Subway update! Their Canadian outlets offer EGG SALAD and it's pretty good, too! Please bring that down to the US! But, I'm still a White Castle kinda guy, though not to excess.
