I couldn't find any recent updates, these people are all cut from the same criminal cloth, the two most powerful politicians in any state, both charged with felonies, but there always seems to be more of them, to take the place of the last set of criminals icon_lol.gif

It's Texas, corrupt shit like this is more commonplace in the lone star shithole than anywhere else in the U.S. Even states that have a reputation for corruption- Louisiana, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, Rhode Island cannot even light a candle to Texas in terms of political chicanery. Texas is up there with Mexico, Honduras, and Russia as one of the most corrupt and oppressive places on Earth and that is the absolute truth.

I don't know if political corruption in Texas is MORE commonplace than in other US States, but I'll agree it's certainly pervasive.

Former Gov. Perry will not be convicted by fellow Texans on State charges. If facing Federal charges things could change, but again not a good chance in Texas. Many of the Federal judges & prosecutors are Texas Republicans themselves, promoted from the State ranks and appointed by GW Bush.
