I've watched a few videos and read a few articles that abstaining from self-pleasure increases an individual's focus, self-confidence, and promote the motivation to go out and date instead of indulging in pornography, as it seems one should be indulging in casual sex and forego masturbation (which by all means isn't a bad thing at all). Apparently, people begin to give you more attention as well. I had considered practicing this, but at the same time I almost never feel the need to get off and doing so has never impeded in certain areas of my life as well (goals, fitness, social life, work, school, etc.) other than diminishing occasional frustration (though lately there's a bit of "guilt" in the aftermath). Has the method actually been beneficial for some who've practiced it?
