On any USA holiday, especially this one, it doesn't hurt to review and then keep your eyes open.

Here in Pensacola the threat of Islamic terrorists is minimal but with the history of fundamentalist activism from local "christian colleges" and murders, bombings and arson during the 1980s and 90's over abortion - and the number of local fundamentalist ministers like Kent Hovind who've been convicted of crimes and are in prison..... gays here stay wary.

On top of that, you can't go anywhere in this city and not be more than 100 feet feet from marines or navy in uniform and out.

Now that marriage is national and the rhetoric from the fundamentalists has only become more insane, I'm more concerned about them as a personal threat to me and my friends than I am concerned about Islamic extremists.

Just since marriage became legal there have been several "ministers" predict we are on the verge of a civil war. Look at the post Metta did about the Ten Plagues they're accusing gays of causing to see how much more insane their rhetoric has become.

To the average RJ member this would not necessarily be seen as a problem... icon_lol.gif

I agree. Even if the military man isn't that attractive, just for the fact that he defends our country, gives him a foot in the door

Tell me about it!!!!!!! LOL... It's enough to fog up my glasses sometimes. It sure makes an old man remember being young. On top of all that, they're all so damned polite and friendly.
