Vegas has had some issues with gay nightlife, the only steady clubs have been Share Nightclub or the clubs in around the fruit loop, like Piranha. From what I have heard, those in the local liquor control commission are conservative and hate the local gay community.
It would appear as long as the gay community stays within the fruit loop area (which includes hotels Rumor and Hard Rock) expansion is kept to a minimum. If you have ever been to Share, you know its way off the strip, as was the only clothing optional gay resort, Blue Moon, which is now closed, forced everyone to the Luxor, http://www.bluemoonlv.com/
. Vegas has/had a leather bar Eagle, but they were closed down as well a few years ago. Not sure why but, Vegas is still very much a heterosexual playground
Blue Moon Hotel for Men is Closed for Business.
Although Blue Moon Hotel for Men is now closed, I can highly recommend LUXOR as your gay friendly resort in Las Vegas! It's also home to Temptations Sunday gay pool party!
