I used to waste hours and hours of my precious internet surfing time on there, but it seems like no one bothers with it any more.

Is that the same for you?

    I'm getting a little paranoid. icon_smile.gif

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!!! Brilliant pic... I'll nick it! That's acshually a personal rule among my friends... our face time should be devoid of Facebook-related discussions.

As long as there are idiots who are addicted to it, Facebook will remain alive... or in other words...

Facebook will die only if I kill it. Muahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!

Personally I find most social sites loose a considerable audience just after the holidays and then it picks back up around Valentine's (mid-Feb for those who don't celebrate this hallowed event icon_biggrin.gif)

Maybe it's winter dull-drum, boredom and then hints of spring kick in, single people want to look for a V-Day date... and WHAMO!! Your mother's got a profile on FaceBook! icon_eek.gif

^ lol, I think this might be part of the problem though. Who wants to share Facebook with their Mother? I'd be horrified if she looked me up online.

Also the novelty has kinda worn off.

I agree. My friends and I are thinking about migrating back over to Friendster, for exactly that reason! Haha

^ I know, I know, but how do you explain to your Mother that you've blocked her out of your profile, because of all those photos.

Luckily my mother still has issues with email and has never heard of facebook. but being that, I just set up a profile on facebook, you guys are really bringing me down. icon_confused.gif
Then again I think that site is used more for people hoping to reconnect with people they rarely see or haven't seen in years etc and less the social-cool-me-creative-me site of say a MySpace

I think MySpace is starting to tail off, but not Facebook. I rarely check MySpace but I check Facebook every day.

lolllllllll dying? depends in the country I guess. Here in Canada everyone uses facebook, its like part of your life, like something everyone should have. My facebook is pretty active the whole time with friends commenting on my photos and making fun of me and all the parties are posted on facebook, so we can know how many people are attending and stuff like that. Trust me, facebook is not dying in Canada.

btw here basically no one uses myspace, its considered to be embarrassing and pointless.

Thinking of anyone in particular? icon_razz.gif

I use Myspace to keep in touch with my US friends. But charlitos is right, Facebook is far more popular in Canada then MySpace. Facebook exploded in popularity once it was opened up beyond the University crowd, but my niece has been using Facebook almost from day one. That is how I first heard about it.

Haha have you heard the phrase... It's not official until it's on Facebook?

That is lived by at UW and especially in the greek system, sadly.
