Hidden Agenda: How China's Culture Of Corruption Threatens U.S. Sovereignty
    http://www.forbes.com/sites/eamonnfingleton/2013/08/25/hidden-agenda-how-chinas-culture-of-corruption-threatens-u-s-sovereignty/

As recent reports of China’s culture of graft make clear, the Chinese and American systems are not exactly compatible. Whereas America strives to stamp out corruption (with varying degrees of success, of course), corruption in China is not only considered a fact of life but in some ways is actually encouraged by the Chinese authorities.

All this is lost on America’s culturally blind mainstream media but for anyone who knows East Asia it is obvious. The Confucian model of authoritarian control works by a principle I call “selective enforcement.” The idea is that while a lot of things are nominally illegal, within accepted limits the law is irrelevant – provided only you don’t rock the boat on larger issues of more concern to the authorities. Thus in China, things like routine bribery, price fixing, and tax evasion are just business as usual, and in normal circumstances no one raises an eyebrow.

You think the democrats are any damned bettericon_question.gif If you do than you are living in a utopian fantasyland because both major parties are owned and controlled by Wall Street. Vote independent or vote third party.

Yes, your "just sayin'" is obvious. Put some facts, thought, and logic into the process and it turns out better left unsaid.

And yet another dope who I need to block posts from.

The Republican Party are anti-communists. It is the left that generates people like Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro and the like. The people who emulate and admire China like Paul Crugman, Van Jones, and Barack Obama are all democrat.

You can try to paint that any way you like, but that is the fact of the matter. It's who they support, it's who they emulate, it's what they see as a better option to individual liberty, free markets, and freedom of expression. You don't like the Republican Party. I get it. But if you don't like these facts, you can't wish it not be so.

    Truth isn't mean, it's truth.

You struck out on home plate on that one, who ever, troll you are. There are three, "empire" entities who want to rule the world, which is why we all need to separate church from state

Religion (rule is coming to an, thousands year end)
Government (rule is just starting, taking over from religion)
Corporations (rule is secret, behind the scenes, puppet master of the previous two)

Since it is the corporations that really rule the world, we have to look at which political party, in general, it favors. Think political party, globally though, not just USA anymore, because we see now, how global economies affect one another. We all know from experience, that party is the conservative base, local and or global.

In the old paradigm, free market (greed is good) worked well for a long time. This created the huge wealth gap we see today. But we are in a new paradigm now, too many people "know whats up", we saw this in the Occupy Wall Street uprising, the 99% v 1%, global demands for wage hikes which now the many realize that they have been slaves working for slave wages for many years, making their masters wealthy in the old paradigm of free market. The continued low labor participation rate, (pissed off sidelined people), this will force corporations to increase their stagnate wages, their greed got out of control.

We only have to look to China, our biggest creditor, to know how they operate business, the "made in China" label has always been associated with cheap goods and services. Why is the bank of China our biggest creditor? The ancient Dynasty's, cheap form of labor created wealth for the business in China most americans could only dream of, even the most wealthy americans.

If one is paying attention, we see how China's business practices have now influenced our own country's. "Made in America" used to stand for a well built, quality product or service. I am sorry to have to tell you this but "quality" is actually a REGULATION in any business. One of the biggest complaints by conservative, republicans who run corporate America is too much regulation that supposedly interferes with profit margins. YES, QUALITY COST MONEY, there is no getting around that, unless the corporation decides to cut corners (see GM ignition switch debacle).

Americans have become too complacent, would you rather have it last and not break down or would you rather just have it cheap? Having it cheap seems to be the new norm and the corporations are taking advantage of this trend by removing the quality (regulation), continue low wage, high profit margins for the select few. I believe this is why America has lost most of its manufacturing base to China or Mexico, we can thank republicans for that, as well as the disappearance of the middle class (associated with union jobs). I personally, don't shop at Walmart, they have been part of the problem for many years, as I understand it, they are a conservative, republican family.

You think the liberal democrats have not profited from this same horrendous, supply side trickle down policies because if you do than I have a 150 mile stretch of rural interstate for sale. The liberal democrats are just as owned and controlled by Wall Street as the conservative republicans. Granted liberal democrats push for needed policies that would help the mass majority but when it is time to implement these bills into laws, the liberal democrats do an about face and throw the mass majority under an approaching bus. They also line their pockets by doing an about face on the American poor, working class, and middle class. The donkey dorks are all rhetoric but no substance and 98% of the American population suffers for it. Go figure.

I am not going to even try and disassemble that insane communist laden bull you just typing here. And no, I'm not trolling you. Or anybody for that matter. The forum title was so ass backwards in basic logic and simple intelligence, that I wanted to say something. You are too ignorant to even understand the intellectual underpinning of your own ideology....

If you are using the terms like "greed is good" and "99% vs. 1%", you are a communist. It is an ideology tthat the Republican Party doesn't share. It is one that the democrat party is far more sympathetic for. That is a very simple fact, and there is at least a century of literature and documentation to back it up if you do a simple google search.

Your entire premise is flawed. I will not concede your idiocy of the 3 "empire" forces, or whatever intellectual sounding bullshit you wish to regurgitate. All of those three "empires" are all based on a western dominant view of the world. Which is why i call you communist, because what you are saying is designed to play on the supposed guilt of western civilization.

But here is the truth: Communism, socialism, controlled economics, whatever you want to call them: all eventually result in brutal human liquidation if left to their own devices long enough. Hundred of millions dead, that your ideology expresses to justify in pursuit of "social justice". Nothing you can offer or advocate for blood soaked communist ideology, will ever make it morally equivilant (let alone superior) to capitalism.

You seem a bit too young to remember anything McCarthyism, you right wing capitalist creep, I suppose you were one of those kids who never shared his toys, either by your natural born talents or the product of paranoid conservative parents or family who taught you selfishness is a family value.
