It doesn't matter what city, suburb, or small town, police brutality and hatred is getting out of hand in the US and it is disgusting. I guess Philadelphia wants to end up like Baltimore, suffer severe rioting followed by record high homicide rates. It is time to take the military behavior out of law enforcement.icon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gif

I don't know if it's actually worse than it was before, but now that everyone has a smart phone with decent camera, we're sure seeing it.

It is high time to permanently demilitatize the police and force every police officer to accept the true fact that they are all public servants paid by our hard earned tax dollars whose purpose is to protect and serve not intimidate and brutalize.

Sensible speed limits to remove some of the probable cause excuse to reign in a bit of the civil forfeiture abuse could be one place to start. This is where some of the money is coming from to buy this surplus military equipment.

That's so disgusting and disturbing. I'm so upset by that, I'm shaking. Even after all of the protests and public awareness, this keeps happening. The cops are nothing but the kkk in blue. I sincerely hope the U.N. Steps in. Obviously the US isn't fit to police itself anymore, and I don't see it changing as long as the white majority faces no consequences for permitting this Nazi-like behavior.

"26 Ex Cops Get 10 Years in Prison" is the only headline I want to see next.

Nothing will stop this until these thugs with badges get the punishment they deserve.

You think 10 years is enough? They should be tried for war crimes because behavior like this that goes unchecked is how a culture erodes to the point of committing genocide.

Technology is probably revealing old practices that couldn`t previously be proved. It is uncovering a culture of police impunity. This is bad news for public/police relationships and decent officers.
What`s sad is that too many police officers and forces seem to see themselves as some kind of quasi-military force of occupation rather than serving society.
Police officers share a societal/cultural demonization of young African-American men, and have a educational/training culture based largely on the twin approaches of individual officer survival and the use of lethal force; all of which need to be changed(see the kind of films they use in recruitment propaganda).

Now that it's been revealed again, and again, and again, and again, nothing is being done to change it. Protests have only given way to Fox News and republicans further demonizing that black community. Frankly, the responses I'm seeing here are appallingly apathetic.

It's sickeningly clear that the cops in the US are predisposed and equipped to commit genocide against black Americans. This is how it begins, with silence. The woman who recorded this video was right that this is a lynch mob. More people need to speak out against this and acknowledge that it is racism.
