What will happen if he wins the election? He's beating the pants off the other republicans in the polls!

    Is he really for REAL?

Donald Trump has surged to the top of two new 2016 polls

I would much rather have him for President than any of the narrow minded bible thumping screwballs like Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum, and Mike Huckabee. I would also much rather have him for President than the hapless Hillary ho.

Trump can't even win a twitter feud with the writer from Modern Family, and you guys think he can become POTUS??? I think Americans had enough of simple minded blowhards, after G.W.B.

I'm loving this, as are most Democrats. Trump is destroying the Republican "brand" with Latino voters, an important demographic. Plus his high primary poll standing shows how racist the Republican base really is.

Leaving little room for Latinos like Rubio, or the Senator from Canada, Cruz. Trump's anti-Mexico hate speech and its embracement by Republican core voters does not help a Rubio or a Cruz. And in the final analysis it won't help Trump, either. icon_biggrin.gif

I can't deny that I'm enjoying SOME of the stuff he says, while other stuff he says scares me to death. But I do love that he's laying it all out there and just saying things that no other candidate would dare say. In my opinion, if nothing else, Donald Trump is forcing the discussion on a variety of issues (mostly immigration) in a really raw way. He's making all of the other candidates really REALLY uncomfortable, and maybe that's a good thing. Enough with all the politically-correct poll-driven rhetoric, most of which is bullshit anyway, that all the others read off teleprompters. I like Donald Trump unscripted -- as a candidate, not necessarily as the POTUS. Can hardly wait until the debates.

He's on his way to Arizona and New Mexico. I think I might show up and see for myself.

For those who want genuine change, ignore the polls and vote for the candidate hated most by the news mediums!

Trump won't officially run for President. He often does this: get his name and agenda out there and then back away before officially declaring his candidacy. Reason: he won't file a personal finance disclosure report, which is required of official candidates.

Trump is telling it like it is. Very refreshing.

He's probably too honest which is a real contrast to Billary.

    That is his handicap.

Honest? I'm sure the non-rapist immigrants would beg to differ, not that Gobs Of Poop will listen.icon_idea.gif

Way too early in the game. Election Day is still 15 months off.

A whole lot of trouble can happen between now and then.

While Trump is out there blowing his horn the other candidates are quietly raising big money they can use to buy air time. He's rich, but he's not THAT rich.

And the other candidates are thrilled he is out there with his extremist views so they can position themselves as right-wing moderates.

Trump filed a form 2 with the FEC on June 22nd (along with his announcement speech) and this starts a 30 day clock for him to turn in a financial disclosure statement.

Than and only than will he be a for real candidate.

Trump is our sorting hat for Republican voters. By all means, nominate him. God, that'll be fun to watch.
