Would you think twice about dating someone with mild-moderate acne?

Would this turn you off from a person if they were generally decent looking, but with some skin issues?

Nope, not at all. Just means he's churning out testosterone. Of course I'd expect him to be working to minimize it and staying very clean but the fact of it wouldn't deter me. Everybody has insecurities about something. A good guy will not only not mind, he'll be the one who sees you, not your flaws.

I don't mind, as long as he's a good person and we share chemistry.

Do I get to pop his zits?

Even better if he uses ProActiv and ends up looking like Adam Levine.

Weird thing for them? Or against them? ahaha

And wow, I didn't think it would be this supportive ahaha. This is something I face.. and I agree with you guys I wouldn't care at all if someone else had it. It's just so much harder to tell yourself that when you have it ;p

I haven rosacea myself so it would be hypocritical for me to prejudice about skin issues.

    My two cents,

If they were good-looking, I'd date them. I had terrible acne in high school and it cleared up by college.

For them, I'm more attracted to guys with acne.

That's cool and affirms my thinking that there is someone out there for everyone.

If I was single, I wouldn't refuse to date a guy just because he was suffering from acne. At age 14 I myself suffered from acne for a few months. I got rid of it with Physohex (which is not used anymore, I've heard). I also stopped eating so much processed sugar & switched to fruit for snacks.

Honestly, yes I'd think twice. But then I'd scold myself for being an S.O.B. and get past it. Acne scars don't bother me at all. There was a guy at the gym whose face was pretty scarred up; but he had appealing eyes and a fine body, and seemed from afar to have a good personality (judging by how he acted with his friends). I'd have jumped at the chance to get together with him, if something had thrown us together.

Accutane worked great for my two sons. I wish I had it when I was their age. I understand it's not available in the States anymore though.

Accutane worked wonders for 3 of my sisters and myself.

It does have side effects, i looked like i wasn't even human my face was so dry. Seriously, you would think i was wearing a mask of powdered sugar. The only lotion that even remotely helped had steroids, which is bad for you skin. So for 5 months, i endured. lol Course i worked in a factory, which had to be moisture regulated so maybe it was worse for me.....

I was much cuter when i was younger, had acne all through highschool and still had dates with most of the popular pretty girls.
