JuanPablomv89 saidThat's fucking gross. I think is funny when people who fights for equality DON'T RESPECT HUMAN LIFE like liberal democrats but they are whining and crying when a bakery don't want to bake a gay wedding cake.. A gay wedding cake is more importanmt than a hunam life being destroy for a stupid bitch who didn't take her pill

The original video that the OP posted is fake! Your comments are incorrect in so many ways. Being pro choice actually has a lot to do with respecting human life....the quality of human life (for both the mother and potential child) is more important than making sure that every fetus that can be born is actually born. What is disgusting is pushing women to have every fetus become a child and then not caring about those lives after they have been born.

On average, it is estimated that 1 in 3 women have an abortion during their lifetime.

Sorry Metta, but that actually makes sense...on several levels...and I wouldn't even consider voting for that party.

Regardless of my personal stance on abortion, I do agree that aborted fetuses should be just as subject to research as adult cadavers. The only difference is that some adult cadavers get incinerated (usually by request) before research can be done.

I don't have a problem with fetus tissue being used for scientific research. Planned Parenthood is not allowed to make money. They do not make money.

    I suggest you all read

The Curious Lives Of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach

It's a humerus little docu about the scientific achievements of cadaver study in the world. And other stuff like ancient Chinese medicine.

The Mengele comparison is the usual pathetic right-wing outrage-grabber. Conducting "experiments" or the grossest kind on living persons who have been kidnapped out of their homes on a systematic genocidal plan, is in a whole different league from what PP is alleged to have done. But then the right wing loves Hitler analogies - so easy to get worked up about, without having to think, deal with facts or really, having any idea of history or what they're talking about.

But the (American) right wing doesn't love.... these analogies, does it? God love them, they don't have to go back to (or anywhere near as far away from home as)...Mengele.

How can I say this, the promotion of abortion, as oppose to simply seeking it's legality, or have what Bill Clinton had once said be "legal but rare", was deliberately done to placate the egos of whores so that they don't consider themselves as murderers of their own children by having every other women do it themselves.

I knew there was some reason I keep e-stalking you on this forum other than just your looks (except for legs - you're obviously not an avid/addicted cyclist icon_lol.gif ).

You're right, though. If dead bodies (even aborted fetuses) had never been studied, we wouldn't have even a fraction of the knowledge we have today about the living body.

And then there's Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood:

    10462913_706990326100815_199187098842658

Actually I think the incarnation of what Planned Parenthood is today is from the efforts of Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger who merged a Christian organization by the name of the "Ecumenical Fellowship" to extant chapters of the organization in the late 1960's (the church was founded to help women get abortions across state lines), and Planned Parenthood, as Munger has noted, was actually quite ignorant to the idea of abortion as a method of contraception. Magaret Sanger herself was against abortion but she wasn't against the idea of birth control beyond abortion. Even Roe v. Wade seems to have had as it's foundation the landmark Californian court case People v. Belous which legalized abortion in the state, and whose backers were none other than Buffet and Munger. Munger is open about his support for abortion, citing his reason along Malthusian lines and very much sees himself as a humanitarian for it (at a cocktail party, he is noted to have once toasted an obstetrician to how many babies he didn't actually deliver), while Buffet very much want hides his support for it, but I highly suspect, like the women who pushed abortion elsewhere, that his support for it's legalization, and it's subsequent promotion, had primarily to do with wanting to remove public judgement and any lingering personal guilt that came with the act. As it's one thing to legalize abortion as a safe and legal right (which I personally hope is still a rare occurrence), but another thing to call it a "right to privacy"...

People in the United States have fragile egos, and simply like to use euphemisms to otherwise mask heinous things that can go on here. For example, we might not be able to judge a woman of being any number of things simply because of her fictitious "right to privacy". And unlike what others may say about Planned Parenthood, and even themselves, they are effectively known to most people as an organization that promotes and conducts abortion (and one way of promoting abortion is to coax unsure pregnant women to get abortions). For Elizabeth Warren and the organization itself to claim that only "3%" of the organization is about abortion, is just about as bald face of a lie as anyone can get... So how can I put this as an analogy people can understand... Many of the so-called gay men here, have devoted less than 1% of their overall lifetime to having had gay sex, and yet being gay seems to permeate the essence of their identity, but if I use Warren's and Planned Parenthood's definition of what is and isn't something, especially when it quacks like a duck, many people here won't simply be gay.

It's kinda amusing when you try to explain US American behaviour as if it was a one of a kind thing. It doesn't occur to you that political correctness happens in all liberal western countries Uruguay included. Abortion laws here have been already legalized so trust me we have gone through all these arguments, and still do. Mine was a rethorical question, because I don't like PC, I prefer to call things as they are. It was nice of you to take it literal and give such a rich answer though.

Because the "New Topic" link defaults to "All Things Gay" so the tiniest of inattention while posting a new topic will land it here.

I've made that mistake more than a few hundred times. I wish it could be fixed (like, post directly into the forum you're currently in).

I'll still maintain our exceptionality... I also sensed that things might have been said in jest... But on an unrelated note, I've actually been one degree away from knowing Rebecca Watson directly, the creator of that video.
