You are a friend when you go to battle for them and the cost of that battle is high.

I have been in the U.S. for some 10 days now having responded to a dear old friend who is the proverbial David in a David versus Goliath battle. My efforts in these days have reminded me how different the captains of industry are these days from those who were my mentors years ago. We were -- and I remain -- concerned as to the effect of our actions upon those who those actions touched.

My friend purchased a home in a retirement community through which a pipeline owned by Kinder Morgan, based in Houston, runs. Kinder is a company formed by two former Enron executives. You should know I am angry when I refer to Kinder folk and their associates as filth. I say it and I mean thus that. Someone in their retirement years does not deserve harassment and worse from the representatives of such filth in Houston, Texas.

I have been so incensed by the behavior of Kinder employees and representatives as to its effect upon my friend, as well as the broader community affected by Kinder's actions in a recent attempt to invoke imminent domain to acquire rights-of-way along the Georgia and South Carolina coast, that I even question support of the notorious Keystone XL pipeline backed by a similar ilk. That is a profound statement from a staunch conservative guys. It is time for war against these sorry sacs of filth and that is exactly what I plan on giving them.

So if you're anywhere in the continental U.S. and you have knowledge of any potential leakage from a Kinder Morgan pipeline, set up a sock account and mail that info -- preferably GPS coordinates -- to conservativejock@gmail.com. I will deploy foot troops with detection equipment to said location. Kinder has been diverting maintenance funding to side efforts within the growing empire and basically saying "fuck you" to those along their pipeline routs.

Pass the word. I need feet on the ground who observe the environment around them. Post to your groups you visit, Twitter, wherever it may be that anyone has a view that might lead my foot troops to deleterious releases of products transported to the environment. Anything that can be done to drive up their costs means they are easier to pick off in the open market.

    And thanks!!

    +1

I'm very familiar with Kinder on a more personal basis than I care to announce. Fuck your foot troops. Tell them to stand down. The battle is just beginning.

How was a retirement community built on grounds with a pipeline running underneath? That's the root cause.

If you don't want your house flooded, live outside of a flood zone.

If you don't want your house burned to the ground, live outside of a forest.

If you don't want to glow in the dark, live outside of a nuclear plant zone.

If you guys want to eliminate all pipelines, then you need to give up your smartphones and computers because you won't have the electricity to run them.

It in Texas. Texas allows all kinds of mixed use. That is why you have major industrial disasters happen in residential neighborhoods. According to Google, Kinder Morgan is the 4th largest energy company in N. America:

Sorry, but what exactly is the problem here?

The OP spends a lot of time calling people "sacs of filth" without ever saying what they actually did.

OK, there's a few hints - something about a pipeline and a retirement community - but no details. Was this known to your friend when he bought the place? If not, isn't it the realtor who's to blame? How is the pipeline ruining your friend's life? How did Kinder Morgan harass your friend? WHY SHOULD WE CARE?

The OP seems to expect everyone to drop what they're doing and join his cause, simply because he's pissed off.

And by the way, it's eminent domain. Not imminent domain.

The OP is a well known hard Right Winger on RJ. He's bragged about his car manufacturing plants in the US and his personal Swiss army of security guards etc. as he's apparently also an ex-pat in Switzerland. All posted on RJ in grand braggadosio.

    Good point.

The op's post was seriously lacking in important details.
