Now that their embassy is back in operation I wonder if we'll see 60-year-old Chevy Bel Airs running around Washington, DC?

Nice to finally have Obama slicing through the Republican crazy. Wish the Dems in Congress would get their act together, too.

Quite. Obama certainly seems to have a lot more respect around the world than his predecessor did.

Under Obama US More Popular Abroad
The Republican/neocon narrative that the United States has steadily lost its standing in the eyes of the world since Obama succeeded George W. Bush has been rather strongly undermined by the findings of a major new survey of 40 countries by the Pew Research Center and its Global Attitudes Project (GAP).

Kinda cool actually. I can hardly wait to take a trip there and see all the vintage cars and the unique people and bring home some Cuban cigars.

In what way is that Republican? Both parties have supported the embargo.
