I like early 90's hip hop more than current hip hop.

De La Soul, Jungle Brothers, Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, Salt N Pepa, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Public Enemy, EPMD, Dana Dane, Boogie Down Productions, Digital Underground, Kid N Play, TLC, Cypress Hill, Funkdoobiest, Beastie Boys, 3rd Bass.

Plus, 80's and 70's hip hop of course. icon_cool.gif

How bout X-clan.. they are way way underrated.. So many jams.. You also cant fade "They want efx.. from Das efx'" Being gay and in Orlando it was all techno.. use to drive me nuts.. We are such in the minority in the gay world when it comes to hip hop... At least the new generation is reppin a lil bit.. But I agree The new shit sucks for the most part..

I love the 90's shit now more than I did then! Plus I can't get enough of the booming 808 shit...2 Live Crew/Luke, Sir Mix a lot, NWA, Cyprus Hill....I hate most of their lyrics but they have the super booty hot beats. Taking the drum beats of then and mixing conscious current lyrics.....add some bigger bass and you have a magic formula. The kicks in those beats are unstoppable.

Which is why I love the current bootybass being produced. Deekline and Wizard, Ed Solo, School of Thought, Keith MacKenzie, Stanton Warriors....all this really hot UK-based electronic music is just nailing it right now for me.

'90 hip hop were the original beats, not like today where EVERYTHING is sampled.

You know y'all were bumping it to MC Hammer in the early '90's, I sure was! Digital Planet was a great group that had music which anyone can listen to and enjoy. TLC had a great message and awesome music.

I know all of you fools liked this one, anyone can sing it.
