A sort of long time friend offer me a job on his... Entertainment business... Yeah, well, working making porn.
At the begging I was like probably any bottom would be... Thinking on all the fun and so, but now I'm not that sure...
Also do condoms really prevent all STDs? I hear some do and some not... Which ones are good?

My reasons to say no, was that I'm camera shy, which he say was perfect... That I was still hoping my first time was for love and that I'm very insecure and uneasy about my looks.

My reasons for yes, is that I need money and some part of me is alright with it? I guess I'm not sure on this.

I hope I post this on the right seccion.
    Thanks in advance.

OP, I can understand the temptation, especially the money bit as I've considered getting into porn (preferably niche fetish or solo) but I really don't want that to come back and bite me in the butt later if I decided it wasn't for me.

Here's what I think you should do.

You have to ask yourself this question.

    1. Will you be okay knowing that you're video will be potentially splayed all over the internet on free sites?

If you can live with that fact, then you're halfway in. The other half is if this is something you really want to do. Will you be able to handle it and not think bad of yourself? It takes a very strong mind to handle being in porn so you have to have your mind made up.

Now say you do want to go through with it. Here is the CRUCIAL thing you must do. Have a backup plan. Porn stars tend to have a cut off date and unless you have a big following after, you'll have to plan for the future. Me personally, if I ever did do porn temporarily, I would use half the money for necessities (rent/food/etc.) and the other half towards starting a business and investing another portion of it.

I think that this way, you won't have to worry about trying to find a job in an office/organization who may go snooping in your background because you'll be your own boss. The big issue a lot of people in porn have when they retire is that it's hard to find work outside of the adult entertainment industry due to how taboo porn is in America. Because of this, a lot do resort to escorting/prostitution. Not saying this will happen to you but if you've ever wondered why some end up in that world, part of the reason is because they aren't able to find a normal 9-5 job without being discriminated against due to their past job.

So yes, if you go through with it, be smart with your money. Don't blow it all on material things and try to save it because the future is uncertain for when you decide to leave the industry.

Condoms do help prevent STDs but there's still that rare time where it doesn't work (Either by tearing or just bad luck). STDs are quite a problem in porn because a lot of gay industries prefer barebacking over protected. You can still find work with condoms but just saying, I've heard the bareback craze is huge in porn. Another problem is that some companies may not test their actors as often as they should. You just have to use your gut when you find a company to sign with. If something sounds off, follow your intuition.

I hope this all helped and whatever you decide, be safe.

I used to own a porn site. The adult entertainment industry has more genres than Cher has followers.

Your friend's genre of porn happens to be the first-timer's genre, where the "deer in the headlights" look is what his customers prefer. There's nothing to be ashamed of with it. It's a legitimate genre that pays well and can advance your career if you're wanting to break into the adult entertainment industry (certain variables involved, of course).

But if you don't want to do porn, then you don't want to do porn. If he's trying to talk you into it despite your saying no - especially as a long time friend - then he probably has a bad name in the industry. No legit producer would be that invasive.

Shorter answer: He's not your friend.

God ain't gonna pay your bills, and grocery stores don't take "morality" for food.

If you wanna eat and keep a roof over your head, get the money however you can (as long as it's legal).
