How now, a little Popish Plot to buttress attacks on the GOP? That won't fly. The Romish threat is dead and gone.

That exact same question can also be asked about the Baptist and all the flaky fundamentalist organizations as well.

The Catholic Church has over a billion adherents worldwide. She's not disappearing anytime soon. The flakey fundamentalist and Baptists will not be as lucky.

Ask any of them how they feel about the Pope's position on climate change and they probably would say he should keep his mouth shut. If a Pope comments on social policy it's all "right on", but once one took on climate change, it's all "shut your mouth".

lol as if Catholics aren't flakey

but I like when the Pope tells some poor guy living in a Manila slum with 6 kids he can't use birth control icon_lol.gif

    that's beyond flakey, that's depraved

Hadn't the deck not been obsessively stacked at the time of posting there might have been some amusing validity to your humor. However, neither is seeking balance retribution nor would this religious stacking of candidates go otherwise unnoticed: three times as many as usual and twice their most?

Now that would be funny if it didn't appear so desperate: this "why have you forsaken me" moment; this appeal to God in the face of their social losses.

Failing to stop us from gaining gay rights, all the Republicans need now is a priest to administer their own last rites for the sake of this Republican parricide: defeated by their own poster child.

    Compute this:

reference to all the liberal bashing on RJ

reference to recent gay rights win

reference to homophobia, the little darling of the Republican Party
