Some people have absolutely no clue, and an equal inability to accept blame or responsibility for their own stupid mistakes.

What an idiot! He holds a straight, anti-gay rally on Capitol Hill, the center of the gay community in Seattle. And he's offended no one showed up. I know that area well, lived there 5 years.

And most of Seattle is gay-friendly. He doesn't know the community very well.

He needs to try his stunt in Texas or one of the other southern gulf States, where he'd get a rousing welcome. But I shouldn't be giving this clown good advice. Let him drown in his own ignorant bigotry.

Standing on a corner by yourself looks very sad. Doesn't he have any friends that were willing to participate? Probably not.

I know exactly where he's standing, what that brick building over his right shoulder is, met my gay mentor in there for the first time in 1995. Immediately in front of where he's facing used to be marked motorcycle curb parking spaces I used. Look at the rainbow street markings. Talk about getting your venue all wrong! Maybe he should join the Westboro Baptist Church, they specialize in making appearances where they don't belong. LOL!

Not surprised you're empathetic with this guy. What are you doing on this site anyway?

Um, ... increasing diversity? And, I hardly empathize, let alone sympathize, with this joker, Artless; I'm also here to monitor and correct your nonsense as needed, like now.

Someone please help me out here...just when did being straight become shameful and have a social stigma associated with it (or much worse), thus needing a straight "pride" parade?

For my entire life I've been bombarded with stories and imagery of straight love and sex. I don't think straight culture is at risk.

Ah, our self-appointed Monitor-in-Chief. To guard against anything that gets too gay here. Understood.

"Being heterosexual is a choice" haha. Maybe many straights don't consider their sexuality a choice icon_lol.gif.
What a stooge. Maybe he belongs in Mississippi or something. Sure he can find more bigots there.

That's my favorite response to those who make the "choice" argument: why would anyone in his right mind choose to be shunned and discriminated against? That usually shuts them up, even if it sometimes does start them thumpin' their Bibles. OTOH, we have more than our share of crazies, too, non mon Colonel?

Well, at least you got the spelling of Colonel correct, albeit in French, unlike your sponsor SB. Was I being too gay, esteemed Monitor-in-Chief? I think it's important we have this input from the non-gay members here, to keep us in check.

Is RIDICULOUS. Is like having a parade for "white pride". Why bother when you are already socially on top.

Good for him. He probably wrestled with figuring out his sexuality for a long time. Maybe he's the last straight in Seattle?

Precisely the sort of comment that drives people away from RJ. If you don't have something pleasant or informative to say...

There should be a comma after the "non."

I wish I lived in Seattle. I would go the parade with my boyfriend. We'd wear matching hot pink "straight ally" tshirts and organize a massive gay kiss-in next to him. Then watch his brain explode!
