Secret threads *Don't delete me bro*

  How does thread deletion on real jock work? I just realized that when a thread is deleted it still exist on the site but is removed from forums. For example I made a thread earlier that was "removed" but it can still be posted on. Its just not visible in the all things gay section. Does that mean there are secret threads and secret conversations going on right under our noses?
