Income inequality is the way the far left seeks to entice gullible people

They say you can't get ahead, nothing is your fault, blah blah blah. Vote for me and I'll do something about it. The favorite instrument of the far left is taxation. But the socialists in France tried it; it didn't work.

The far left likes to look to government for all solutions. What do they expect the government to do? Throw out the constitution and set CEO salaries. How about saleries for actors and athletes?

When you hear a Hillary or a Sanders with this theme, see if they provide substance behind the rhetoric, if what they propose is constitutional, and if there is analysis to support their proposals. If making the rich worse off also makes the poor even poorer, what is accomplished? Only stoking the class warfare and envy themes that the liberals love to use to get votes.

    From the following article:

"Furthermore, any indictment of capitalism worth its salt has to show not just that the rich are getting richer, but that they do so by making the poor poorer. There is no evidence of that." [Remember - correlation does not mean causation.]

Forget About Income Inequality - Opening more economic opportunities will help the poor, not eradicating inequalities.

Careful you don't get too close to an open flame with this strawman.

That is a fundamental flaw in "their" game of fooling the idiots.

No matter how much they lie, they cannot and will not follow through on their bullshit because....

#1. They depend on the rich more than they are willing to admit.

#2. if they alleviated poverty through massive wealth redistribution they'd be cutting the head off the horse they're riding.

True, but they are counting on naive voters not asking the difficult questions or thinking through their glib pronouncements - voting and hoping.

Which brings to mind something my dad used to say... dry southern humor.

"Go ahead and take a whiff of that hand you aren't wishing in."

Well you're a rude cloaca to ask such complicated questions like that. You're supposed to nod and agree like a good little sheeple.

southbeach1500 saidIt would be interesting if one of the know-it-all libs here could explain exactly what should be done to solve the "income inequality problem."

    Venezuela AND Greece?

    I hope you're kidding.

In one of them farmers need government permits to slaughter chickens for dinner...

In the other farmers ship them out of the country (black market) to avoid selling them at prices lower than the costs to raise chickens.
