Anyone else love anime?! What's your fave?

Mines gotta be Naruto!! The amount of times I've cried to this shit >.> it's good seeing the progress of each character and has a good story!! Sometimes a bit repetitive in between major story arcs though - but still amazing!! No?! :p

Yes, no. Especially the anime for Naruto. When an anime introduces hundreds filler episodes in between ever 30 or 50 actual episodes I totally lose respect for it. The manga was pretty good and actually ended last year.

As for my favorite, I really like DanMachi from the spring 2015 season.

    Neon Genesis Evangelion.
    Cowboy Bebop.
    Serial Experiments Lain.
    Death Note.

    I like heavy philosophical stuff.

Guess what? When I was a kid my favorite TV show was Digimon Tamers, whose director was the same from Serial Experiments Lain inspiration from Evangelion. ;)

yu yu hakusho was a classic. Arguably one of the best animes with an english dub to rival the japanese original.

How are you nerds not mentioning Kill La Kill?

aka the sexiest action anime of all time that gives men equal oversexualization

    kill-20-4.png

How can you not get excited when this show is responsible for hundreds of attractive men worldwide using cosplay as an excuse to be naked.

Aw, anime. It's great. My all time favorites have to be FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun.

I can watch pretty much anything by Miyazaki: Howl's Moving Castle, Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service.

I never really got into Naruto, though I used to watch Bleach when it was on Toonami back in the day.

Kill la kill was awesome!! I'm looking for more anime which has a lot of series' and gets incredibly good storywise. As much as I love things like kill la kill, hellsing ultimate to name a few, they never last as long as I hope icon_sad.gif

Any recommendations out there?! I've tried One Piece..

Most of these probably fall under the "never last as long" category, as is the nature of anime.
I feel most of these have good story lines, but I haven't seen them all, just know that they are popular.

    Ghost in the Shell
    Cowboy Bebop
    Trigun
    Gunslinger Girl
    Deadman Wonderland
    Gantz
    Claymore
    Elfen Lied
    Bleach
    Lupin III

Edit: Also, I would check out Hunter X Hunter

Naruto was an amazing show when it started....but yea, I agree. Because of the excessive amount of fillers....I grew tired of it. The central plot was cool but we as viewers were constantly swayed away from it and it was exhausting.

I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z and Digimon. Both great shows. I am currently obsessed with One Piece. It's just such a FUN story.....and the individual plots are really fresh and unique.

I'm also eagerly awaiting for Attack on Titan to come back....

More reasons to watch Kill La Kill

Abs. Abs on every men. And naked everything. This show is almost "tailored" to be exciting to gay men.

Grew up watching Dragon Ball Z, and digimon.

However, I enjoyed Naruto/Shippuden (Sp?) but the filler episodes are ridiculous, recently went through a 5 month filler arc >.>

    Bleach
Fairy Tail is my current favorite. Its got high drama, hilarious situations and dialogue, and a whole host of great character personalities.

This isn't anime but I really wanted to share my masterful character customization ability on Guild Wars 2.

I have so many. I usually like science fiction and magical girl anime. I try not to get too involved with fandoms and things. Too many issues surrounding that.

I think like others I can't deal with the filler material.

One of my faves is Black Lagoon, straight to the point and nonstop action.

    Also I recommend:

    Outlaw Star
    Michiko
    Ghost in the shell
    Wolf's rain
    Claymore
