Well it looks that a valuable member of this site has opted to depart, either temporarily... or permanently. I just happened to notice because of a comment made to a thread this morning.

I know Zach was getting tired of some of the commentary here, he certainly represents the kind of guy we need on this site... friendly, atuned, thoughtful, grounded and dynamic.

I suggest he be encouraged to return. I'd rather not lose a friend, I hope many of you think the same.

It might be temporary. Isn't he about to move? He would be sorely missed if he left for good.

He is one of my favorite participants on this site. But, things can get a little stagnant here from time to time. A little break does us all good.

I can't say that I blame him. The tenor of this site is not the same as it was when I first created and posted my profile. Some of the things that I have read are just unreal. Bye ZDREW you will be missed.icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

terra22 saidHe's very upset at the way RJ is lately. .... He told me he didn't like at all how people were being treated by others on here, including me(which i just brush off now), and I seriously really agree with him.

I wish he would express that opinion in person on a thread.

Was that a serious comment? Hahaha
So if Zdrew hates drama, instead of just ignoring it and moving on, he should post a new thread starting up some drama. Sounds like a great plan.

Reminds me of a great deep thought I read years ago:

"Martha always wants to argue about such stupid stuff. I don't understand why. I think I'll go ask her."

terra22 saidI just spoke to him.

He's very upset at the way RJ is lately. I don't blame him. He told me he didn't like at all how people were being treated by others on here, including me(which i just brush off now), and I seriously really agree with him.

When I first came here this place used to be a lot different. I know I contribute to the nonsense from time to time, but a lot of people just take things way too far nowadays and cut each others throats virtually on here icon_mad.gif

The endless political carping on RJ is devisive and upsetting to him and many others. Zack steered clear of such topics........and that might be something we should all consider doing. I used to be as guilty as some others - but have stopped taking part in most anything political as of the election.

I just meant that I dont trust the source of the information. I would like to hear from z why he quit.

Quitting is just him stopping participating. There are others of us who have come to know him and like him.....and are now left abandoned without knowing why. He wasn't on here just playing solitaire, you know.

He probably just has some sand in his vagina like I did. It'll either wash out or he'll make a pearl. Either way he'll be back someday when he gets over his irritation.

Breaks are good. Mine helped me to develop the discipline to avoid the shit storms and to ignore those who do the most shitting to begin with.

A quick look at some of the day's threads, and I'm starting to think zdrew had the right idea.

    Sadness...
