I thought "soy lint" is what happened when you keep soybeans in your pocket for too long.

It's my belief and strong opinion that SOY products are very bad for men. I will never ingest them....EVER!! I have personally researched many articles that scientifically show how the SOY is harmful, if not toxic for men. Studies have concluded, that soy products and bi-products can reduce testosterone in men and elevate it even in women to a degree that is not natural.

I have eaten soy on occasion for decades. I have not had any health or testosterone issues.

You will have less body fat if you give soy up completely!!!

I would rather put more trust in scientific journals than men's fitness

Clinical studies show no effects of soy protein or isoflavones on reproductive hormones in men: results of a meta-analysis.
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19524224

Soy consumption and prostate cancer risk in men: a revisit of a meta-analysis

"The results of this analysis suggest that consumption of soy foods is associated with a reduction in prostate cancer risk in men. This protection may be associated with the type and quantity of soy foods consumed."

    http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/89/4/1155.long

Soybean isoflavone exposure does not have feminizing effects on men: a critical examination of the clinical evidence.

It's still a little to processed for me. I like my natural cooked meats. I will find the other scientific PDF.Doc file and post it. I just can't find it now. I will say I am good for never taking SOY!

I'm not trying to encourage you to eat soy. I'm just saying that many of those stories about soy being dangerous have been scientifically shown to be incorrect.

I get it and agree on some. However, on the other hand. I have also read about the overwhelming scientific case studies that soy milk for young babies is not good. I have had a few (people in the health industry) tell me of actual stories of young girls growing breasts at 8 and young boys not fully developing. I just can support it.

I eat it cause it tastes good. In fact, I'm headed out for sushi in a few minutes, and going to have edamame beans with my miso soup. icon_biggrin.gif

I dated a guy whose diet was almost entirely Soylent. The problem is that Soylent doesn't have enough protein in it to build muscle. And it hasn't been studied for that long, so it's difficult to say whether there are any long-term effects of relying on it for your main nutrition.
