    Yes, the VRA is a good thing, but it hardly needs "restoration." Like our immigration laws, it's not "broken," but just needs active and diligent enforcement, to ensure that only those eligible to vote are able to register and vote. Anyone else who tries to vote, vote more than once in any election, or in any other way tampers with election returns should be severely punished for violating what SCOTUS called "the most important right of all;" same for those who aid and abet illegal voting. A just punishment: disenfranchisement for life.
