It is time for the self victimization of blacks to stop. It is time for blacks to become the people MLK spoke of, to be self realized, self aware, and a People of Character. MLK spoke of ALL races not just blacks. This is why he is an icon in American history. He spoke eloquently of peace, of justice, and of individual freedom from oppression. The Hispanic peoples understand this and I would suspect that one reason for their extreme forcefulness towards blacks is based within the self perpetuation of black victimization. Having said that, this article is further proof of race baiting by the media and I stand by my origin post of, "Drivel Journalism".

Wait..... You're making the same mistake (in reverse) that the whiney bearded white ignoramus was making....

Exactly WHAT does growing up poor have to do with growing up to be a violent criminal?

I'm serious. Not being confrontational... explain to to me why you equivocate growing up poor with becoming a criminal. I'll give a cash reward to the first the first person who can link cops killing innocent people to the idea of growing up poor causes people to become violent criminals.

HINT: double check your words for hypocrisy before I do.

I don't understand your intention of this thread. Are you saying that the "black lives matters" activist don't care about this issue? OR that they're hypocritical for bashing the "all lives matter" campaign? Please elaborate.

    Everything revolves around money.
How many blacks have well paid jobs?
How many blacks go into crime and gangs?
How many blacks go into education?
How many white people care about black people?

    1. Not enough money
    2. Because they do not have enough well paid jobs so maybe they turn to crime
    3. Racial segregation. Funding?
    4. White people earn a lot more than black people.

    Just google it.

    http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/data-mine/2015/01/28/us-education-still-separate-and-unequal

Poor people are more likely to turn to crime.

    http://gawker.com/the-american-police-state-hates-black-and-poor-people-1722709452

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-33765871

    http://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/donald-trump-right-what-obamas-done-black-america-n403881

White people get richer. Black people get poorer. That is the understanding here.

did you read the article though? there are screen shots of tweets from BLM activists in the link as well as this:

"Black Lives Matter, an activist community that is working to end what it says is the systematic targeting of black people by police, has been sharing Hammond's story on social media as another example of police brutality, and is also asking why Hammond's death has not prompted outrage by other groups."

    it also says:

"...the lack of outrage over Hammond's death did not appear to be race-related. She said the lack of compelling video or a history of brutality complaints with the police department was more of a reason the story did not reach national levels."

this is just as sad and scary as the others, but people have to know about it to get outraged. also, young white guys have to be killed more often. something for you to look forward to?

I felt his, tmac's, reaction to the OP very disingenuous.

The black lives matter movement, have made it VERY VERY clear that they only care about black lives. Specifically those killed by white cops. Not black lives killed by other blacks, which is a much much higher number.

I think the media's use of cases that lack a clear cut black victim to rile black and other people up is really the issue. It's probably done on purpose as I'm sure some people will stand to benefit from the from the dialectical conflict of whites against blacks.

Sandra Bland's death was due to her own suicide. So why was there so much outrage and uproar from the Black Lives Matter movement????

They were quick to point the race card at the police in that case, now all of a sudden they want to take a step back???

    http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/aug/04/black-children-swimming-drownings-segregation

    This is very important.

"During that time, Wiltse says, thousands of public pools were opened across the country, creating a culture of swimming for millions of Americans. But the pools were segregated, and only a fraction of them were destined for black Americans."

"In the US, swimming ability is starkly divided along racial lines. White Americans are twice as likely to know how to swim as black Americans."

Racial divide is still happening. We must end this and promote equality for all.

Shouldn't you be more frustrated about the lack of response from the All Lives Movement? I mean, it is called ALL LIVES MATTER after all. Anyway...here's evidence of concern from the BlackLivesMatter movement:
