I decided to do a post of people who lived a short life. With every passing day we have the chance to do something meaningful, different or even a little crazy. Whatever it is do it with passion and conviction. You never know how much time you have left on this earth!!

In the spirit of family and the "Walton's" I started it with good night....I also sign off from these pages at the time I do this and had some fun with all the diverse opinions. Have fun......
    Good night!!

There's a sort of acquiescence that most fall prey to, those of us who are not taken early by illness. Longevity comes at a price. But we do so admire those among us who don't give a shit.

On Netfix there's a series call the Last 24.
There was perfect storm of errors he made on that night. SO sad!

I was in Atlantic City, NJ that day. It was unusually humid and muggy.

We were actually in the area on vacation. We watched as the boats searched the waters. We all knew what the end result was going to be and were so saddened. The mood there was a mood of such sadness and disappointment - like the hope we all had in him was now taken away. I often think if we will ever have that feeling again. What a unique family. Back in 1968 I stood in line in New York City for over 12 hours to simply walk past and touch Bobby Kennedy's casket. What a unique experience to listen to the thoughts and feelings of so many standing with me that day. It is so difficult when hope vanishes.
