so sad but local intuition said he had no chance of a win. He and his legal backers (Alliance Defending Freedom) have dreams of a SCOTUS victory?

I don't understand why business owners/employees are having such a hard time understanding that its wrong to discriminate and that its hateful to shame customers. Ridiculous business model. I hope he fails.

There is no way the baker will win an appeal to SCOTUS. They already turned down an appeal from a photographer. And that was before the marriage equality win. The legal landscape has changed in our favor since then, and one would think that photography is more expressive and worthy of first amendment protection than baking an f-ing cake. But it will be good for bigoted go-fund-me dollars.

yes indeed Masterpiece Cakeshop bakery owner Jack Phillips got caught in the trailing edge of history. Negative outcome of of social conservative thinking.

The appeal process is slooow. The LGBT crowd has climbed up "legal Protected Class" ladder a bit. Chances are we will not hear from Jack Phillips again as the court re applied new thinking.

Denver is still an island and outside Denver County there are more cows than citizens.

Q9342221 saidagain I don't understand, why would you Sue someone who didn't bake a cake for you or not give you a marriage license. Lakewood, Colorado isn't exactly that conservative of an area. Try Boulder, Ft Collins, or Denver proper. To get a marriage license go to another state.

In my state of Arizona (of 6 months) it is illegal for me to be outdoors in city, county, or state parks with revealing attire. Not so in the next state I am moving to. Kind of the same issue. Why worry about people and businesses that are backwards?

I would prefer to see real jock threads about positive things such as Bernie Sanders for PREZ.

So, you support Bernie Sanders and allowing businesses to discriminate against gay people???

What's next? Airlines won't let gay couples sit next to each other because some bigots think God will make the plane crash, such is His hatred for faggots.

    "No Gays Allowed"

Paid for by the socialist democratic party.

    That's fucked up. icon_eek.gif
