I got tendintis in my rotator cuff and bicep approx 8 month ago. The tendonitis itself is gone but I'm left with a lot of tension which runs along my shoulder and all the way down my arm.

I feel it mainly when I stretch my arms out. I cant lift anything on my upper body without feeling it, so its preventing me from going back to the gym. My physiotherapist hasnt been able to treat it.

    Anyone experienced this? Any advice?

Maybe acupuncture. It's helped the tension in my forearms considerably. There used to be so much pain I couldn't sleep. Now life is great icon_smile.gif

Maybe ask your GP to refer you to another physiotherapist; from experience they are not all created equal, so a second opinion could be useful.

I was getting this and actually found moving my arm around into different positions until I felt a "pop" helped. More often than not, the pop felt like it was in my elbow. (It wasn't.)

I have to agree that you should get a second opinion though from a physiotherapist. When I had a rotator cuff injury, the first physiotherapist I had wasn't very helpful but the second one was amazing. Still use the stretches and exercises he gave me to this day.

I am afraid you have a neck injury or a deteriating set of discs in your Cervical Spine. I have the same problem. You will have too visit a Specialist and get the necessary treatment.
