China, has failed its people. Destroyed its culture and the corrupt communist government continues to cover up. Even with the latest bad economic news and the dramatic fall of their stock markets the Country is going down. They debased their currency and now, they are having some really bad disasters. They hardly admit that anything is ever thing wrong. When everything is WRONG!
The people are going to suffer more.....So what's next?? WAR??

Deadly sodium cyanide confirmed at China blast site as new explosions heard

"I do feel a bit afraid," said construction worker Li Shulan, 49, when asked about the air quality. "It definitely doesn't feel good. As you can see our boss is making us wear masks."

China is going to become the world's biggest superfund site. This communist nation-state has destroyed its environment putting almost the entire country in harms way in terms of major disasters. Toxic industrial spills and industrial brownfields cover a large part of the world's third largest country. The entire country has a massive oversupply of brand new, class A real estate most which is sitting vacant. The air over much of China is said to be more poisonous than Mexico City especially in the mountain and plateau regions. The most costly and collossal mistake was the development of the gigantic Three Gorges Dam and hydroelectric project. This resulted in the total loss of one of the country's pristine wild rivers and spectacular canyon like gorges. Plus I have been told that this 50 story high dam was built near an earthquake fault zone. It is a massive, deadly disaster waiting to happen if that fault line ever reactivates. China has definitely spun out of control no wonder many of its wealthier, successful folks are fleeing en mass.

Yep... just like the USSR and the soviet communist bloc nations before they all imploded. Look at them to the phenomenal wonders of a socialist regulated "capitalism."

Monopolies? Loads of them! The government endorses, protects and encourages them.. just as the Kremlin did for fifty years.

But US progressive liberaggots rant and rave about wanting and needing more socialism here.

China’s ghost towns point to nation’s waning fortunes

“Everybody knows what to do. You need to change the economic structure. But what concrete steps to take? Nobody knows,” he said. “What can we do? Financial sector? You can’t compete with cities like Shanghai. High-tech industries? Those won’t flourish overnight.”

You are missing one important item, the socialism that liberals and democrats alike want for the U.S. is to benefit all the American people, not just the wealthy few like under our current corrupt system and Russia's oligarchy and China's current communist system. I am all for redistributing the wealth using free market methods rather than only political laws. Supply side, trickle down economics are a disastrous failure along with the even worse abomination, free trade agreements which have literally bankrupted the U.S. It is time to bring back the Bretton Woods gold standard and end all this wreck less money printing just to spend and go deeper into the hole. We also need to cut defense spending and end the financial handouts to the military industrial complex. We also need to outlaw all public subsidies for professional sports, especially the corrupt, unethical NFL. Yes we need to reform social services and base them solely on financial need for a temporary period of time and the recipient must be required to get their act together by either going to school and acquiring the needed skills or to search for full time employment so they can get off the welfare rolls ASAP. I also think that welfare checks should be earned, not just handed. Therefore they should bring back the workfare initiative.

Rob, no offense, but have begun repeating (and repeating) some of the most ridiculous little red book mantra I've ever heard. I don't play that game.

 #1... There's no such damned thing as a type of socialism that is to the benefit of individuals and not also to the nebulous "wealthy few" you're talking about. Just look at the campaign donors for your most socialist candidates. Goldman Sachs, Merril Lynch, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers...... You're imagining a "Utopia" that does not, cannot and will not exist. Incidentally - the joke's on you - 'Utopia' in Greek, is οὐτόπος and means 'no place' or a place that doesn't exist.

That's the but ugly truth about socialism whether you wake up to see it or not! Go ahead and yell all you want to about the wealthy few and the boob bait of redistribution of wealth under some benevolent socialist regime but the most you are going to get out of it is friggin pennies just like people already wholly dependent on it.

 #2... The fact that you could pin this original line on the tail end of your defense of an imaginary version of socialism in the US made me laugh my ass off....

roadbikeRobI am all for redistributing the wealth using free market methods rather than only political laws.

Then you go on with more of your endlessly repeated mantra...
roadbikeRobSupply side, trickle down economics are a disastrous failure along with the even worse abomination...
The only abominations concerned with supply side economics are due to politicians concerned more about their own tenure in office than economic realities trying manipulate economic factors to... a.) to impress voters with the attention spans of bricks - and b.) please the wealthy enough to keep the campaign money rolling in. It's called playing both ends against the middle.

As for your incessant nonsensical bitching about 'trickle down economics,'... if you can find working examples of any national economy that is based in trickle up, trickle left, trickle right, trickle clockwise or counter clockwise economics I'll write you a 4 figure check and nominate you for Nobel prize in magic. ALL wealth trickles down... in capitalism, socialism, pharaohism, anarchism, ad infinitum.

Most of the other 'new' things you talked about are pretty rational. After so much of your irrational mantra being thrown around this week I'm not so sure if that was by accident or part of deliberate rational thought processes.
