I'm going to Toronto for a couple of weeks and want to find a gym I can work out at. I'll be along the Yonge corridor north of the City but will have a car. I tried the GoodLife last year near the Eaton Centre but it was pretty packed. Any suggestions? Thx

Well, ditch the car unless you want to pay huge parking fees and take twice as long to get anywhere.
Back in the day the "Y" on Grosvenor was the place where the boys worked out.

There are several Goodlife Gyms on Yonge and that area near Eaton Centre.

I tried the GoodLife near Richmond St. I didn't know there were several close by. I tried one north of the city but it was pretty crowded too so I figured they all are. Good point about the parking cost, though. I can always take the subway.

Yonge & Eglington...not too busy...two locations. The one at 110 Eglinton Ave E was not too busy last time I was there (weekdays).

HarD Candy fitness at Yonge and Gerrard - in the aura building, great gym, maybe costy for visitors
The YMCA downtown central Y is good at Yonge and Grenville

GoodLife : Bloor Park (Yonge and Bloor}, Yorkville (Bay and Bloor) open till 12:00 am, Sheppard Mall (Yonge and Sheppard), Adelaide and Yonge (24 HRS), ManuLife centre (Bay and Bloor) .

Other than Sheppard Mall, they are all walking distance from where I live. Can't beat living on Bloor Street.....

Hey, thanks for the advice about Hard Candy. I checked and they need me to sign up for a month, which is a bit of overkill for my needs. I checked out the GoodLife at Yonge Bloor and it was way bigger than I expected. I'm off there now! Thanks for the advice, everyone! :-)
