So there is a guy I met last year at the gym. We had a brief convo about fitness and he seemed very nice but a little shy. I changed gym's a year ago, so I have not seen him since last year. The thing is I have been dreaming about this guy a lot and it's starting to freak me out. I don't even think about this guy, so I wonder why do I keep dreaming about him. Any thoughts?

It's a serious mental condition called "I need to get laid disorder."

Sounds like a combination of deep seated regret and projection. Maybe you should go back to gym and actually get to know the guy. Is it really that hard to do?

I wouldn't get freaked out by it, if I was you. Your subconscious mind is doing some chatting with you. It's happens from time to time.

like who cares why do you even bother to make a thread about it? You obviously think about him and that is why you are dreaming about him icon_rolleyes.gif

My cousin is a counselor, and she has told me when I dream of someone this is sometimes an aspect or facet of myself. So maybe he (in the dream) could represent an aspect of you?

It's kinda a strange concept but I think she's right in some cases. I've had a dream where someone I don't know very well at all (a neighbor of my parents) was comforting me when I was upset about myself, and I obviously identify him with kindness, so it was the kind part of me comforting me.

What does he represent to you? What needs haven't been met?
It's really not about him and more so about you.

Refer to my post "so tempting but he's straight", simmilar scenario here and not sure why I keep wishing he was gay, as if I want him but know it's not gonna happen.
