After reading the posting about Zdrew leaving, I was thinking that we should convince the RJ gods to develop a new feature called the "Forum Playlist" where you can select for display just the forums you want to participate in and it will only display the current postings for the categories you select. That way if you want to avoid "spirituality" forums, leave it off your playlist or if the "all things gay" rubs you the wrong way, just say no!

Also create a "political" forum to hold these controversial and often emotional discussions. Add a button to alert RJ management that a particular discussion is in the wrong forum category so as to try and keep the boards a little cleaner.

Any thought on this? Hmmmm....maybe I need to talk to Jeff about a Quality Assurance job! LOL

Nah. You can already do that. LOL

In case you're still browsing by the homepage, you can access categories easier through the forums page itself:

    http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/

And you can quickly sort through which categories you don't want to be in.

We also have the "track this" feature to pull up only the threads you want to see.

What I think would be better is to have the ability to hide the posts of selected posters. Of course, the thread might read a little weird for you cuz you would be missing some posts. Your choice.

No, I think you both missed my point. A play list would be the categories you want to see...no one you have to go pick each time...it would only list those you have selected, the rest would only be available if you choose them all. Maybe not a good idea...just a thought, busy here so not a lot of time to explain...oh well.
