The UN has made findings that ISIS is a threat to all who are LGBT. To date, people from Syria and Iraq, who have been found to have committed Sodomy, a total of 30 so far. Have been apprehended by ISIS and executed. Shocking!

Using the actions of an extremist group to generally condemn all theists is even more insane.

No, I think pretending God is real just gives the cray cray murderers more credibility than they deserve.

I actually think religious moderates are immoral for preaching the lies that empower extremists.

I quit going to church when I realized that religion is evil.

Yes, you're being incredibly biased and hypocritical. There are good and bad examples in every community, even the gay community. You would call it homophobic if someone used examples of the most uncivilized gay men (which there are also plenty of) to prove that all gay men are mentally unstable.

Religion is an ideology with a long history of executing "sodomites." It's based on lies, and I don't think there is any credible justification for defending ignorance.

Edit: Religion and racism go hand in hand, only instead of being judged for what's on the outside (racism), we're judged based on which fairy tale cult we're brainwashed by, and these cults fight for supremacy.

And of course the most fervent of the religious followers kill gays, mutilate babies, and oppress women. It's all about trying to control human sexuality. It's tyranny and it's sick.

That is a bunch of crazy! And it's not a response to anything I've said. There are lots of gay guys out there doing horrible things as well, mostly to other gay men. You wouldn't like it if someone put you in the same box with them simply because you're a gay person. Your arguments make you look like exactly what you claim to be against.

The Catholic church is not putting knives to anyone's wrists. You're obviously taking this as an opportunity to express your contempt for religion (like Joe). What I said was that you guys will both be very sensitive if anyone verbalizes doubts about the sanity or goodness of the gay community based on the fuckery a lot of the uncivilized queens pull. I've seen it. Gay News & Events is full of it, so it's very hypocritical.

They promote hate speech, i.e. religious texts.

If I promoted racism, slavery, homophobia and the subjugation of women, would I really have to actually murder someone in order to be condemned as a bigot?

There's just no "nice" way to religulous.

You've been promoting hate speech since your original comment. If you disapprove of religious beliefs, that's your prerogative, but the way you're going about it is no different from what you claim to be against.

ISIS is just following the rules set forth by their religion. If Christians did that, they would be executing sodomites too, and they have, for thousands of years they did that, in fact.

To preach part of it is to passively validate all of it. I call it feeding the dragon, because there is no dragon. There is just tyranny.

Yeah, I'm against religion. I think it's immoral to go around the world trying to convert people into being part of a sinister cult. It's just mindlessness.

There are problems in the world, and they can no more be prayed away than the "gay."

Anyone who supports religion might as well be supporting ethnic cleansing, because that's the path religion always leads to in the end.

You keep using racism and ethnic cleansing to prove your point, but different religions are also very big parts of lots of cultures....which would make your views a little racist too, no? Again, the more you condemn, the more you show yourself to be not so different from what you claim to be so against. Be blessed!

How is religion related to ethnic cleansing? If this is it then why can I still see MANY, if not plenty, asian muslims arab christians or white buddhists? your arguments is just utterly invalid.
Dont generalize when you do not get a grip on a fact.

Sure, people can convert, (also known as cultural genocide) or die resisting. Just a quick review of what Christians did to Jews, Pagans and Native Americans who wouldn't convert to Christianity should tell you that. And that's just one of the dominant world religions.

So being against religion makes me a racist? Funny, considering religion is one of the things that keeps us segregated.

I believe humans are all part of one species. It's religion itself that divides us. It's so painfully obvious.

Religion tells people what to wear, who to kill, who to accept, etc.

It's a dictatorship disguised as morality.

If gay men can't see that, then how will straight men ever see it, since religion is specifically catered to them?

You left Islam out of your list of "killer religions." Consider the following from the Koran re: "infidels:"

Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them(2:191)

Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood (9:123)

When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them (9:5)

Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax (9:29)

Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85)

The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30)

Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticise Islam. (5:33)

The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque (9:2icon_cool.gif

Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies
    (22:19)

Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them (47:4)

The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight
    them (8:65)

Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:2icon_cool.gif

Terrorise and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an (8:12)

Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorise the infidels (8:60)

Add to these the passages promoting lying (tagiyya) as essential in warfare/dealing with non-Sharia-abiding persons and you've got a political system for tyranny, not a religion entitled to I Amdt. protections.

Most of what you've said is bigotry disguised as activism. Gay people totally try to dictate what to wear and who to accept (or more commonly, who not to accept) as well. If you're going to accuse another demographic of being judgmental, make sure yours isn't just as judgmental first.

Right. The gays will stone you to death if you don't have a man bun.icon_rolleyes.gif

    http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/4099711

The idea that you would compare a few trendy gay guys, who really only speak to a stereotype, to the tyranny of religion just shows how blind to the reality you are.

Fact is, I don't have much tolerance for people trying to get me to accept the agenda of a cruel dictatorship. Am I a bigot for wanting the confederate flag to come down?

Religion offends me for all the same reasons that one might offended by the Nazi or confederate flag. To me, it represents the murder of gay people.
